Stove Top Cooking Directions

(Best Method)

  1. PREHEAT skillet for 2 minutes on medium heat.
  2. ADD 1 tbsp. of oil to the pan.
  3. ONCE OIL is hot, carefully add pilaf to pan. Allow to cook for 2 minutes undisturbed to lightly toast grains and mushrooms.
  4. STIR and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
  5. TRANSFER to a serving dish. Let rest for 1-2 minutes before serving

Microwave Cooking Directions:

  1. OPEN BAG and pour grain mixture into a microwave-safe bowl, and cover.
  2. PLACE in the microwave and cook on high for 4-5 minutes until cooked through.
  3. LET STAND 1 minute. Carefully remove bowl from microwave.
  4. MIX thoroughly and enjoy!

Directions were developed based of a 1100-watt microwave oven. Cooking time will vary based on microwave oven. Do not cook in toaster oven. For food safety and best product quality cook to an internal temperture of 165ºF.
