Stove Top Cooking Directions

FOR BEST RESULTS: Thaw overnight in the refrigerator or up to 2 hours at room temperature before baking.

  1. PREHEAT skillet for 2 minutes on medium heat
  2. ADD 1 tsp. of oil to pan.
  3. ONCE OIL is hot carefully add pilaf to pan. Allow to cook for 2 minutes undisturbed for a nice toasting of grains and mushrooms.
  4. STIR to mix thoroughly, continue to cook for another 5-6 minutes until cooked through.
  5. TRANSFER to a serving dish. Let rest for 1-2 minutes before serving.

For food safety and best product quality cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.

 

Microwave Cooking Directions:

  1. OPEN BAG and pour rice mix into microwave safe bowl, cover with plastic wrap..
  2. PLACE in the microwave and cook on high for 4-5 minutes until cooked through
  3. LET STAND 1 minute. Carefully remove bowl from microwave
  4. MIX thoroughly and enjoy!

Directions were developed based o a 1100-watt microwave oven. Cooking times will vary based on microwave oven. For food safety and best product quality cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.
